From 2pm-5pm, the team at Woodland Hall will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
Woodland Hall has organised a world cuisine party to celebrate the open day. There will be a selection of dishes inspired by cuisines from around the globe, including a barbecue, prepared by the care home’s chefs. Visitors will be able to take part in fun games and activities, including a raffle and tombola, and there will be plenty of stalls to browse. There will also be live entertainment to get everyone in the party spirit.
The friendly team at Woodland Hall will also be on hand to give advice and information on the different types of care they provide.
Zena Khudawes, customer relations manager at Woodland Hall, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents by building lasting relationships with the local community across the generations.
“We cannot wait to open our doors to the community to showcase everything Woodland Hall has to offer and the difference care homes make to residents’ lives and their wellbeing. We have planned a fun day for all the family and a warm welcome awaits the people of Stanmore.”
