Tantalise your taste buds at St Vincent’s House’s Care Home Open Day

St Vincent’s House is inviting local people to visit the home on Saturday 17th June to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

From 2pm-5pm, the team at St Vincent's House will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.

St Vincent's House has organised a world cuisine party to celebrate the open day. There will be a selection of tasty treats from a variety of cuisines, prepared by the care home’s chefs. As well as live entertainment throughout the afternoon from Eliza Emery to get everyone in the party spirit. Visitors are also invited to dress up in national dress to celebrate the theme.

The friendly team at St Vincent’s House will also be on hand to give advice and information on the different types of care they provide.

Adeyemi Salawu, home manager at St Vincent's House, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents by building lasting relationships with the local community across the generations.

“We cannot wait to open our doors to the community to showcase everything St Vincent's House has to offer and the difference care homes make to residents’ lives and their wellbeing. We have planned a fun day for all the family and a warm welcome awaits the people of Hammersmith”
