Join Manor Lodge for summer fun to celebrate Care Home Open Day

Manor Lodge is inviting local people to visit the home on Friday 16th June to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

From 10.30am-4pm, the team at Manor Lodge will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.

Manor Lodge has organised a summer garden party to celebrate the open day. Guests will be able to enjoy a Rock ‘n’ Roll sing-along, a tasty afternoon tea and will have the chance to make some new furry friends from Wellies-On.

To further commemorate the day, Councillor Madden – whose mother-in law is a resident at Manor Lodge – will be joining residents on the day to plant a friendship tree, to remember loved ones.
