Join Ambleside for teddy bear picnic to celebrate Care Home Open Day

Ambleside is inviting local people to visit the home on Friday 16th June to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

From 11.30am-4.30pm, the team at Ambleside will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.

Ambleside has organised a teddy bear’s picnic to celebrate the open day. There will be fun and games for all the family with live music from Carpenter’s tribute act, the ‘Sound of Karen’, as well as a crossword and reminiscence quiz. Guests can also tuck into afternoon tea especially prepared by head chef Lisa Morris.
