Jubilee House was joined by a special guest to celebrate the opening of its newly refurbished suite.
Jeremy Hunt, MP for South West Surrey, was given the honour of cutting the ribbon and officially opening the suite at Jubilee House care home on Pound Lane.
The suite has undergone a significant £502k investment and will provide specialist residential dementia care for residents at Jubilee House. As part of the celebrations, guests were treated to musical entertainment from Davina and tucked into a host of homemade treats prepared by head chef, Mary Culley.
Totka Zhelyazkova, home manager at Jubilee House, said: “It was wonderful to celebrate the launch of the refurbished suite with the local community, and gave us the opportunity to show what life is like at Jubilee House.
“This latest investment into the care home means that we are able to extend our services, while maintaining the highest standard of personalised care in a warm and welcoming environment.
“We are very grateful to Jeremy Hunt for helping us to celebrate this special milestone. Everyone really enjoyed the festivities and it was wonderful to see the smiling faces of the residents and visitors.”
Jubilee House is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full-time nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
