Residents and the team at Foxbridge House were joined by family and friends to commemorate the home’s special day and residents which have been at the care home since it first opened were the guests of honour.
Live music from Santino helped get everyone in the party spirit and guests were also treated to a fun cocktail tasting class where they had the opportunity to try a host of delicious concoctions, including a Foxbridge Fancy, a Bluebell Bomber, a Larch Liqueur and a Willow Woo-Woo.
Since opening its doors in March 2013, the purpose-built Foxbridge House has been home to 217 residents for long-term or respite care.
The day of celebrations also saw six members of the team awarded a certificate of appreciation for three years’ service, having worked at the care home since it opened.
Carol McCormack, home manager at Foxbridge House, said: “We were all incredibly excited to mark our third year anniversary. This was a wonderful opportunity for residents to celebrate the warm, friendly community we have created here at Foxbridge House and to thank the local community for their continued support.
“The last three years have really flown by and we are all very proud of Foxbridge House.
We have had great support over the last year from residents, relatives and the local community and we wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in our success.”
Foxbridge House is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
