The Care UK team opened the doors of the care home on Charles Hastings way to family, friends and people from the local community to celebrate the unveiling of the suite, which will provide specialist residential care for 11 older people in Worcester.
Throughout the afternoon there was live music from the Poppy Sisters who performed classic sing-along-songs from 1930s to the 1960s, to get everyone in the party spirit.
Pushpa Sagoo, home manager at Perry Manor, said: “It is a very exciting time for Perry Manor. We are thrilled to be announce the expansion of our services and it was wonderful to give the local community a first view of the new suite. This latest edition to the care home means that we are able to build on our existing provision and we cannot wait to welcome new residents to join the warm and welcoming community we have created here at Perry Manor.
“We are very grateful to the Mayor of Worcester for helping us to celebrate this special milestone. Everyone had a brilliant afternoon and it was wonderful to see the smiling faces of the residents and visitors as we all joined in to sing classic songs from the good old days.”
