Darlington Court care home celebrates unveiling of Milton and Shelley suite

The care team at Darlington Court was joined by the chairman of Rustington Parish Council, Alison Cooper, for the official opening of the care home’s Milton and Shelley suite.

The Darlington Court care team welcomed family, friends and local people into the home on The Leas, off Station Road, to celebrate the unveiling of the suite which will provide residential care for 24 older people in Rustington, Littlehampton.

To coincide with the celebrations, guests were treated to afternoon tea and there was a party atmosphere throughout the afternoon with live music from singer, Louise Radcliffe, who entertained with songs from the 1940's, 50's and 60's.

Customer relations manager, Julie Bartholomew, said: “As with everything we do at Darlington Court, our residents their families and the local community were at the heart of the event to commemorate the opening of the Milton and Shelley suite.

“We have built a warm, welcoming community here at Darlington Court with everything in place so we can provide the highest standards of care, and it is great that we are in a position to open the next area of the home.  We were delighted so many people joined us as we marked this important milestone, and we now look forward to welcoming residents to their impressive new home over the coming months.”
