Christmas spectacular at Hailsham care home

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Bowes House, with members of the public invited to a Christmas spectacular at the care home in Hailsham on Thursday 3rd December from 10.30am-4pm.

The Care UK team at the care home on Battle Road has joined forces with Hart Coleman Estate Agents of Hailsham to provide festive fun for all the family.

Children will have the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and there will be a winter wonderland complete with magical snow, a friendly donkey and a snow queen stilt walker.

There will also be gift inspiration with craft stalls selling items such as handmade cards, lavender bags and a sweet cart.

Pupils from Bede’s Senior School will be singing carols throughout the day and visitors are invited to join in with festive favourites including Away in a Manger and Hark! The Herald Angels Sings.

Home manager at Bowes House, Helena Barrow said: “As a care home we think it is incredibly important important to forge relationships within the local community and we are very grateful for the support Hart Coleman Estate Agents has provided for our Christmas event.

“This really is a magical time of year and here at Bowes House we like to make all our residents feel at home by kicking off the festive celebrations with plenty of traditional activities. We are all looking forward to inviting family, friends and people of Hailsham into our home for a magical day of Christmas fun and games.”
