Senior appointment strengthens team at Halstead care home

Colne View care home in Halstead has welcomed a new member of the team with the appointment of Omar Taylor as home manager.

Omar, from Colchester, has taken to the helm of the 91-strong team at Colne View, with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the care home.  An experienced mental health counsellor, Omar has worked in the care sector for eight years, including three years in care home management.

Commenting on his new position, Omar said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as home manager at Colne View, and I am excited to be leading a team of committed and compassionate individuals on behalf of Care UK.

“I strongly believe the residents at Colne View should be at the heart of everything we do here, and I will be leading the way in ensuring care is tailored to their individual needs. I am looking forward to providing strong leadership, a clear direction and a dedicated, caring approach; and I will be focusing on getting to know each resident to ensure we continue to support them to enjoy active and fulfilled lives.”
