From 9am-10am, the team at Ambleside, on Evesham Road, will be providing a free tea or coffee and freshly-made bacon or egg rolls for all emergency and non-emergency service workers as a way to give back to the local community.
Dawn Leaver, home manager at Ambleside, said: “We know how hard people in our local community work and for nurses, firemen and those in the police, for example, this often involves shift work with long and unsocial hours, so to say thank you, we are inviting them to take a few minutes to come and enjoy breakfast on us.
“If you work for our local NHS, police, fire service, search and rescue, St John’s Ambulance, local Government, military or you just want to call in to ‘Breakfastop’, we look forward to welcoming you to Ambleside.”
The initiative will continue throughout 2015 following its launch on 9th September. Breakfastop will be open from 9am-10am on Wednesday 14th October, Wednesday 11th November and Wednesday 9th December.
Situated on Evesham Road, Ambleside is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
