The team at Brook Court on Oldnall Road is joining forces with Perdeep Asi, financial planner at Ashcourt Rowan and Mandy Weston, lawyer at Worcestershire Wills. Perdeep and Mandy will be sharing their knowledge and providing practical advice on the options available to those who may be funding care in the future – whether caring for a loved one in their own home or looking at care homes.
Brook Court customer relations manager, Simon Maskell, said: “We are looking forward to opening the doors to Brook Court on Wednesday to answer any concerns and questions local people may have on the subject of planning care for loved ones and to provide clearly delivered practical advice. After the event, visitors can take the opportunity to meet the team here and to a look around the care home. Places are limited so I would urge those interested to register their attendance.”
Those who attend the planning future care event will also be able to pick up a copy of Care UK’s Good to Go. The free guide highlights how important it is for those living with dementia – and their carers – to get out and about, and the emotional and physical benefits of staying active.
Situated on Oldnall Road, Brook Court is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. Designed to enable its residents to live enjoyable and fulfilling lives, the care home has its very own cinema and hairdressers, and there is plenty of space both indoors and out for relaxation and recreation.
