Easter bonnets on parade at The Potteries

Residents at The Potteries care home on York Road in Poole enjoyed an ‘eggstra-special’ Easter this year, and the celebrations commenced with a fun Easter bonnet parade.

Residents had a crafty time using fluffy bunnies and chicks to decorate their own Easter bonnets in preparation for the parade, and they also made their own Easter cards to give to their visiting relatives over the weekend.

Home manager, Zita Turner, said: “Everyone at The Potteries had a truly ‘eggcellent’ Easter and we were delighted to welcome so many families to share in the celebrations with us over a special afternoon tea. Many residents have lovely memories of celebrating Easter with their families, and we wanted to honour those all-important traditions while involving all generations in our fun activities.”
