The team at Laurel Dene is joining forces with Kieron Robertson, financial planner at Ashcourt Rowan, and Natalie Nesbitt, legal executive from Stone Rowe Brewer Solicitors, for a free information seminar. Both will be sharing their knowledge and providing practical guidance on funding long term care – whether caring for someone in their own home or looking at care homes, as well as wills and power of attorney.
After the event, Kieron and Natalie will be on hand to answer any questions, and there will also be an opportunity for members of the public to take a closer look at Laurel Dene.
Home manager Kathy Harman explained why she is opening the doors to Laurel Dene for the planning care for the future event. “We often find that people find it difficult to make decisions about the care of a loved one, particularly if there is lack of support and advice available.
“By hosting a free information session here at Laurel Dene, we can open up direct access to trusted professionals who can clearly explain the options when it comes to funding care, and we can also lend our support the people of Hampton who are thinking about making plans for the future care for their loved ones right now.”
Those who attend the free information seminar can also collect a copy of Care UK’s ‘Listen, Talk, Connect’ guide which helps friends and relatives to overcome the challenges they may face in having conversations and general interactions with those living with dementia.
Situated on Hampton Road, Laurel Dene has been designed to deliver the very best standards of care and to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives. The home provides full time residential nursing and specialist dementia care.
