Key appointment strengthens team at East Grinstead care home

Care UK has announced the appointment of home manager Soonita Shaw who has taken the helm of Mill View care home in East Grinstead.

Situated on Dunnings Road, Mill View is a luxurious, modern care home designed to provide a warm and welcoming ‘home from home’ for its residents. It provides a range of care services from respite and residential care, to specialist care for those living with dementia.

As home manager, Soonita will be responsible for the day to day running of Mill View. Bringing more than 21 years of experience in the health and social care industry to her new role, Soonita holds a diploma in Health and Social Services Management and has a successful track record in care home management.

Speaking about her new position, Soonita said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as home manager for Mill View. It is a popular care home which has quickly established its place in the local community and I am going to take great pleasure in playing a part in its future direction.

“I strongly believe our residents should be the focus of the home and at the centre of everything we do – it is important to remember Mill View is the residents’ home and we are guests within it. I will be leading the way in ensuring our residents lead fulfilling lives, with activity-based care, and I look forward to getting to know them and their families.”
