Those on parade were all shapes and sizes and delighted residents at the care home in St Ives.
Residents and staff were given opportunity to touch and hold owls with one brave resident agreeing to fly the hybrid eagle.
Speaking about the event, Toby Swallow, Customer Relations Manager at Field Lodge said, ‘ It was a great afternoon and an experience to remember for both employees and residents. It’s always good to see how happy our residents are during these regular events and it proves yet again the importance of daily activities in a residential care setting.’
Matthew Cox, Home Manager at Field Lodge said, ‘Ensuring our residents stay active and involved in everyday life at the home is hugely important to our teams. We develop a plan for every resident so that everything they do, from the support they are provided to the activities they take part in, is tailored to their specific needs.’
