Coffee, cake and a good cause

It is that time of year again when we eat cake and drink coffee to raise money for MacMillan, the cancer charity.

On Friday 27th September, between 11am and 12.30pm, we at Kenilworth Grange will be joining in our sixth MacMillan coffee morning for this very worthwhile cause.

Activities coordinator and organiser Julie Packer said: “Cancer is one of those terrible conditions that seem to touch every family at some time or in some way.

“Team members, residents and their relatives all admire the work carried out by the charity and that has ensured that we have had very popular and lively coffee mornings over the years.

“We have a very kind and talented kitchen team who will be baking cakes for the day and I am sure we will have some donations of cakes too.”

The event begins at 11am in the lounge and all friends and relatives of residents or the team are welcome.
