Crafty Kenilworth residents fill the stalls at our summer fayre

On Saturday 20th July residents at Care UK’s Kenilworth Grange care home, in Kenilworth, will be welcoming the public to their home to join in the fun at their annual Summer Fayre.

From 2.30pm the team at the home in Spring Lane will be serving tea and cakes, glasses of Pimms and lemonade to help cool visitors down on what they hope will be a sunny day.

Activities Coordinator Julie Packer said: “It promises to be a great afternoon. Our now famous "All our own work" stall will be there with greeting cards, knitting and table decorations that our residents have made themselves.

“Kath Wagstaff, one of our residents, has this year - with help from her daughter-in-law - knitted a beautiful doll’s bridal dress to go along with a teddy bear page boy and it will be the prize on the Guess the Wedding Date stall.

“There will also be face painting and my grandson tells me that the design he and his friends will be after is Spiderman!”

Entry to the fayre is free to all and the fun will run until 5pm.
