Recruitment for a brand new care home in Stratford is underway, creating around 60 new jobs in the town.
The Care UK home, called Ambleside, will provide residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for up to 60 people and is currently being built on Evesham Road and recruitment for a variety of roles has started. Among the roles currently being recruited for are care assistants, team leaders, housekeeping teams, kitchen assistants and receptionists.
The home is due to open in October and will be the latest addition to Care UK’s portfolio of purpose-built homes.
Located on the outskirts of the town, Ambleside will have beautiful countryside views as well as extensive landscaped gardens. Inside, the home will feature a coffee shop, hairdressing salon and cinema for residents and their visitors. Each of the home’s two floors will be split into smaller groups of rooms, which will each have their own dining room and lounge, to create a cosy and homely atmosphere.
Lynda Appleby, Operational Projects Director for Care UK, said: “Our newest home is going to be a fantastic addition to the local area and will offer the chance to be part of a team that brings specialised, professional care to people living with dementia.”
She added: “We are looking for team members who share our passion and determination to provide the very best care in a modern and stimulating environment. We have some exciting opportunities on offer and I look forward to meeting our future colleagues.”
