Vintage cars and local history exhibits will be on display at spring fair in Richmond this Saturday.
The fair is being held at Care UK’s The Terrace home and from 2pm until 4pm and visitors will be able to enjoy a wide variety of displays and entertainment.
The home in Maison Dieu will be hosting exhibits from the McKenzie Thorpe Gallery and from the Green Howards Museum as well as refreshments and all the fun of the fair.
A hot dog stand and ice cream stall will ensure that fair-goers of all ages find something delicious to eat, and those in search of bargains, or indeed the perfect present, will find something attractive at one of the many stalls.
Handbags, scarves, clothes and gifts will be on sale in aid of Cancer Research, and the Usherette Singers will be performing during the afternoon. There will also be a tombola.
Home manager Nicola Wilkins said: "We’re looking forward to welcoming as many visitors as possible on Saturday – our residents are looking forward to the event and I think it will be a great afternoon for all the family.
“We are always pleased to show people what we do, especially when we can all have fun doing it.”
