Eggs and bonnets

Jubilee House is preparing for a busy Easter this year with events happening throughout the week, starting with a church service.

The home will start Easter Week with a service which everyone is invited to join and which a member of the local clergy will perform.

On Easter Sunday, there will be chocolate treats a-plenty when the team will be presenting each resident with an Easter egg to help them celebrate the day.

Acting Manager Guy Chappelle said: “We are expecting a very busy week full of visits from friends and relatives.

“Everyone has been very busy creating stunning Easter bonnets in our activity sessions ready for our Easter bonnet parade on Monday.

“The event will feature prizes for the best, most creative and funniest hats and I am sure we will all have a wonderful, chocolate-filled time.”
