There is a bumper festive season planned at The Terrace this season and residents’ friends and families will be joining in making it the most wonderful time of the year.
The home starts the celebrations with the annual visit to the Catterick Bridge Christmas lunch on Thursday 6th December.
Activities Coordinator Cynthia Payne said: “The trip is always popular and the staff at the hotel always make us very welcome and organise a Christmassy sing-along in the afternoon.”
The festivities will continue with the ever-popular pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk being performed at the home. Cynthia said: “The pantomime is performed by a very talented couple of young people who visited us last year and wowed us all. It is a great advantage to be able to have a first-rate pantomime come to the home so that everyone, including those who need nursing care, can enjoy the fun.”
On Saturday 15th December, The Terrace will be holding a Christmas party with lots of party food, and regular entertainer Freddie Briggs will lead a sing-along and there will be lots of fun and games to get everyone in the mood for the big day.
