There will be a chance to get an early start to your Christmas shopping and pamper yourself with a beauty treatment as Care UK’s Heather View residential home in Beacon Road, Crowborough, opens its doors to visitors on Saturday 24th November.
The Christmas market promises to solve everyone’s present problems. Organiser Marion Wickison said: “We have some fantastic stalls selling handmade goods, jewellery and cards and our own Knit Club will have a stall.”
There will also an opportunity for shoppers to pamper themselves with beauty treatments, including manicures and eyebrow shaping, provided by the home’s qualified hairdresser Louise Kaszuba.
Marion said: “We hope the fair will be opened by Father Christmas and the members of the East Sussex Fire Brigade, emergencies permitting, and children will be able to visit Santa in his Grotto.
“We hope that the community will come and join in with our carolling and see our beautiful home, as well as stocking up with their presents and having a pamper session with our beauticians.”
The Christmas market is free and open to the public from 1-4pm and refreshments, including mince pies, will be available in the home’s Doyle’s coffee shop.
