Manor Lodge celebrates Royal Wedding with a street party

Residents and staff at Manor Lodge decorated the home with bunting, balloons and posters for their  Royal Wedding Street Party on 28th April.

In the morning residents and their families were entertained by a live singer who sand some old favourites and got many people up on the dance floor. A buffet lunch was served with jelly and ice cream for pudding!

Residents helped to make a wedding cake for the occasion and many made hats to wear for the big day which were judged in a competition in the afternoon with a prize for the best hat.

On the day of the wedding residents watched the event on television whilst enjoying morning tea and royal cupcakes. After the wedding the residents and staff toasted the happy couple with a glass of bucks fizz!
