Stanecroft, was given an “excellent” rating with the maximum three-star award following an unannounced inspection in January of this year.
Our home was praised for treating residents with dignity and respecting their privacy, taking their individual preferences into account.
Each resident has a key worker who regularly reviews their needs. Residents are encouraged to be part of the community, and follow the interests and hobbies they have always enjoyed. Stanecroft has recently appointed an activities co-ordinator who is developing a programme for the residents including music sessions, bingo, quizzes and walks. There is also a series of social events planned including coffee mornings, film evenings and a singer comes in once a week to entertain residents.
Our manager, Jenny Sharman, said: “We are thrilled that we have been given an “excellent” rating, which reflects the hard work that our staff put in to deliver high quality care to our residents every day. We are committed to providing the highest standards of care to our residents, helping them to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.”
Managing Director of Residential Care Services, Tony Hosking said: “I am very proud of the Care UK staff at Stanecroft and am pleased that they have gained the recognition from CSCI with an “excellent” rating.”
