St Ives care home hosts brew-tiful afternoon for local community

 

A St Ives care home is opening its doors to the community for an afternoon of songs and scones. 

On Thursday 25^th July, from 3pm, Care UK’s Field Lodge on London Road is welcoming local people for an afternoon of music in the garden and British teatime treats. 

Guests can enjoy an afternoon of live classical and popular music performed by Soprano singer and one half of the classical crossover sensation The Operababes Karen England and accomplished Organist and Pianist Mark Burton.

While everyone enjoys the delights of the musical duo, the home’s Head Chef will be cooking up a storm and providing treats. New local business, Freya’s Little Bakery will also be providing some scones for the day.
