A new care home in Wilmslow is inviting the local community for a first look, to explore its purpose-built facilities and luxury environment.
Care UK’s Long Stone Manor, on Manchester Road, is hosting two consecutive open weekends, and will be opening its doors to the local community on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th February, from 10am-4pm, and on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February from 10am-4pm.
Members of the community will have the opportunity to meet the team and chat to the Home Manager, Emma Tillyer.
Guests will also be taken on a tour around the care home to get a feel for what life is like at Long Stone Manor and explore its luxury surroundings, including the cinema, hair and beauty salon, pub and coffee shop.
Designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence, Care UK’s Long Stone Manor, which is set to welcome residents from Monday 17th February 2025, will provide full-time residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. The home will offer 60 spacious en-suite bedrooms and incorporates plenty space for hobby and leisure activities.
The layout of the home has been configured into a series of individual suites, each having a dedicated lounge/dining room to help facilitate the creation of close-knit communities.
Emma Tillyer, Home Manager at Long Stone Manor, said: "We're excited to open the doors of Long Stone Manor to welcome the community into our wonderful new home.
“Our upcoming open weekends will be a fantastic opportunity for local people to visit, meet the team, and learn why life in a Care UK care home is special.
“We’re incredibly proud of the warm and welcoming environment we’ve created here at Long Stone Manor, and we’re looking forward to meeting the people of Wilmslow, and the surrounding areas, and showing them what life could be like at Long Stone Manor!"
