A care home in Yate is inviting the local community to get into the festive spirit at its very own Christmas party.
On Wednesday 18th December, from 6.00pm–8.00pm, Care UK’s Ladden View, on Fletcher Road, is welcoming members of the community to join residents and the team to kick-start the festive season with a special party ‘yule’ not want to miss.
A very special guest, Father Christmas, will be present to join in the festive fun, welcoming guests of all ages in his Ladden View grotto.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy a live choir from the Ladden Garden Village Community, as well as warming festive treats prepared by the home’s chef, Jamie Kerton.
Sarah Daly, Home Manager at Ladden View, added: “Here at Ladden View, we are committed to playing an active role in the community, which is why we’re thrilled to be opening our doors for some festive fun.
“Our Christmas party promises to bring the festive cheer and will be a wonderful opportunity to get everyone together to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. It’s also a lovely opportunity for residents to reminisce about their happy Christmas memories, share a story or two, and meet new people from the local community.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone into Ladden View - I can hear the jingle bells sounding out already!"
Ladden View is a new, state-of the-art care home providing full-time residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
