At Montfort Manor every thought has been given to residents' health, safety and wellbeing. Our experienced team offer specialist dementia care, expert nursing dementia care and compassionate end of life care.

The home is divided into small suites to enable residents - particularly those who are living with dementia - to make friends and feel calm and secure in a homelike environment.

It's a brand new home and it looks lovely, very well presented with immaculate décor and attractive furnishings, always spotlessly clean and smelling fresh. It's a really welcoming environment, there is a nice café with snacks and drinks, a well-maintained garden... there is a very homely feel to the place.

Since our loved one has been living there, the staff have made great effort to know her personality, her history, her likes, her dislikes. They talked with her about her hobbies and her interests and they introduced appropriate activities into her care package. They are very respectful towards her, and towards us as a family. They are gentle and thoughtful in the care they provide, they always seek her agreement before doing anything, they never try to force anything, everything is done with the utmost level of respect and concern for her wellbeing.

Our loved one is bedbound and blind with Alzheimer’s, but still the staff include her in everything going on in the home - she especially likes the musical activities - and they bring her out of the home for family occasions. She has thrived in the home, they have given her excellent care and she is very happy and cheerful.
