What others have to say

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Trymview Hall care home.

It took some time for my loved one to settle in, and it was difficult for both of us. They were so good with both of us, they explained that it's natural to feel unsettled at first and really supported both of us with the adjustment. From Day 1, they called him by his first name and started building a relationship with him. The carers are extremely kind and friendly, and one in particular has really bonded with my loved one, which I really appreciate. He's a complicated character, so I sent them a document about him and they have taken everything on board. As his dementia progresses, it is very cruel, and they just give him small reminders in such lovely ways... just brilliant.

My loved one had a stroke and is no longer mobile, so the staff bought a special chair for her, they really going above and beyond to make her life as pleasant and comfortable as it can be. They support and encourage her to remain engaged with the activities in the home, and they are just nice, caring people to be around.

It is a lovely environment, very welcoming and spotlessly clean. It is like a big family. My loved one gets all the care and attention I could have hoped for. The staff are lovely. My loved one gets upset sometimes and they are so reassuring with her, always giving her hugs, genuinely kind and caring. And they keep me in touch with everything... they have a dementia wellbeing person who is very involved with my loved one and we are often in touch.

The facilities are brilliant - I can't fault the staff or care at all. I like the fact you can turn up at anytime and you do not need to make appointments. The food is also good.

Relative of a resident, August 2023

I am very satisfied with the quality of staff that they employ. The environment of the care home itself is very modern, they have beautiful garden and a lot of space.
