What others have to say

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at The Potteries care home.

The food they get is full English in the morning or cereal. Lunchtime they have a choice, and they get a pudding as well. Evening they get sandwiches or a hot alternative. The food is great and looks amazing, especially the desserts. I met the chef as well, he is polite and friendly, and he takes that extra bit of care to make the food. He'll make something special if someone needs it.

My loved one is very happy and content there. They have an activities team that provide a wide range of activities that are physically and mentally stimulating for the residents and there is lots of interaction between the residents and staff, not only with other residents. All of the staff, without exception, are really nice people, professional and kind. All aspects of the care home are extremely positive.

Relative of a resident, March 2024

It's a quality care home! The standard is exceptional, very modern and tidy, no nasty smells. It is owned by a big company and they clearly invested money in it. The second thing that makes it perfect is the team. The manager and staff are just so friendly. It's like a big family. You always feel welcome, and nothing is ever too much trouble if you have a question or request. The carers respect my loved one's dignity as a human being and even though she is vulnerable, they ensure she is able to live a positive life.

Staff are really good. They are always friendly and treat you like family. Nothing is too much trouble. There are lots of cleaners who are always around. It is spotless and smells nice and fresh.

The facilities, management and care is very good. It has a nice garden and good activities.
