Kayleigh began her Care UK journey joining as an apprentice and has worked her way up to becoming a Team Leader gaining qualifications on the way.
“I started my journey in care UK when I was sixteen and began an apprenticeship which I was grateful for all the support and funding I was fortunate enough to receive. I then went on to complete my level 3 diploma with the support of my fellow colleagues and managers which has helped me in my current role as team leader and knowledge in certain areas. I specifically enjoy the end of life aspect of my job role as I feel like it’s very rewarding to be able to provide comfort, support and dignity to those who are in their last days of their life and feel like I am able to make a difference to those who are in a vulnerable time. I feel like I have come a long way in my career and am excited to see what the future holds for me”
