Our community provides luxury life-enabling care for older adults. The dedicated team are passionate about offering the highest quality residential, dementia and respite care. We also offer compassionate end of life care.

Residents at Metchley Manor can enjoy stylish lounges, a welcoming bistro and a stunning collection of ensuite bedrooms including some suitable for couples. Take in the rural views and our beautiful outside spaces which offer a peaceful environment for residents and their loved ones to enjoy.

At Metchely Manor every day is a fine dining day with award-winning Head Chef Scott Tame at the helm. Our lifestyle team provide a varied activity programme and our outings to local areas of interest are a hit with residents. Our stunning Edgbaston community is located near to Warwickshire County Cricket Club and Birmingham's Botanical Gardens in the West Midlands, and enjoys excellent transport links from across the country.

We are proud to have been internally accredited with the evidence-based, person-centered Care Fit for VIPS.

Metchley Manor is officially a ‘Veteran Friendly Framework’ accredited care home, recognising our best practice and highest standards of care for the Armed Forces community.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

In addition to these three suites, we have a number of Studio Suites, which is our standard room layout, and Companion Suites, which is a larger suite with a shared bathroom and kitchen area.

Our Large Studio Suite is an ideal option for older people who are looking for a spacious, open-plan room to make their own. In addition to a generous bedroom area with wardrobe and en-suite, the Large Studio Suite includes a comfortable living area and kitchenette. Enjoy leisurely meals at your own dining table or sit back in a window seat for a spot of birdwatching with your morning cuppa.

For older people who enjoy independent activities such as reading or crafting in the comfort of their own room, the Large Studio Suite offers a relaxing oasis.

One Bedroom Suite

With ample space to live, eat and sleep in ultimate comfort and relaxation, our One Bedroom Suite is a perfect option for an individual seeking a comfortable living option with extra space to entertain guests and enjoy a luxurious lifestyle.

From sharing a meal with a friend to hosting family members for tea and cake, our One Bedroom Suite will provide you with the space to live independently within our home's comfortable surroundings. Featuring an open-plan kitchenette that leads into a spacious living area, where you can relax, watch your smart Television, read a book or entertain. You’ll have plenty of room to make this suite your own with treasured furniture and belongings.

Two Bedroom Suite

Offering a unique opportunity for a couple, our spacious Two Bedroom Suite provides a comfortable sleeping area, plus an en-suite and kitchenette with dining area. Our Two Bedroom Suite offers couples the option to continue living together while receiving the care they need from our dedicated team.

Enjoy sharing a cup of tea with the morning paper at your own dining table, or sit back in a comfortable seat with a good book. With a separate living space, you can welcome company or simply spend quiet time relaxing, watching your smart Television or reading a book.

The personal care is exceptional and the attention the team pays to residents is remarkable. Everyone knows my loved one by name, even the teams on other floors. They seem to know all the residents as individuals and develop personal relationships with them… my loved one always enjoys the music activities, and they are always encouraging her and telling her how good she is. It's lovely to see her surrounded by such kind, thoughtful people.

When you walk in it's like walking into a 5 star hotel. There is a lovely bistro area with lots of natural light, and it's a lovely place to sit and socialise with loved ones and other residents. The whole place is spotlessly clean, including the communal toilet, which I imagine is no mean feat in a care home. Nothing looks shabby or worn... it's a welcoming, comfortable environment.

Over time they have got to know my loved one and they understand his requirements well. If any issues arise they are good at identifying the problem, prioritising his needs and involving medical professionals if necessary. But a big thing for me is that it doesn't feel clinical... it's a place with a good heart to it... the team and the environment.
