Clara Court is an 'outstanding' rated modern and welcoming care home in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

Our positive, caring and highly skilled team provides high quality residential and dementia care for older people. We start getting to know your loved one, even before they move into Clara Court, because we’re passionate about ensuring all aspects of their care and everyday life in the home is personalised to them.

Clara Court has its own hair salon and shop, a vintage-themed lounge, and a café area, plus other comfortable lounges, quiet rooms and activity spaces. Residents are free to make the most of these facilities whenever they wish, so that they can enjoy independence, variety and a great lifestyle.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

We understand that, when residents are busy doing the things they enjoy, they’re relaxed and happy. That's good news for everyone, but particularly for residents who are living with dementia, who can experience anxiety and distress. Our lifestyle team organises a variety of fun and meaningful group and one-to-one activities, from gardening to pub lunches and summer outings to the coast. Everything we do reflects people's interests and wishes.

They keep you really well informed about what is going in the home… always plenty of activities for residents that you can go and join in with. And if there are any incidents of issues, they inform you right away. They really do go above and beyond for residents, they genuinely care... one of the carers saved my loved one's life after a doctor misjudged the situation... I can't speak highly enough about the home.

The staff are incredibly flexible and patient in their work. I've been there when residents pull down their trousers and act up in various ways, but they never get angry or irritated, they respond calmly and know exactly how to settle them down. They know my loved one inside out, they know exactly how to handle him, and they do it with great skill and compassion.

As soon as you walk in, the staff are friendly and they always remember your name. We go unannounced, they never know when we are visiting. The place is always immaculately clean, the bedroom is perfect, cleaned every day. I am very impressed, they could just ignore us, but they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.

It all comes down to staff, they are friendly and they are there for any problems or anything she needs. They are always polite and brilliant. Always helpful when we visit. It's clean, everything is spotless.
