Our purpose-built care home in Reading provides high quality care for older people in stunning surroundings. The expert team deliver first class residential, dementia care and nursing care, as well as compassionate end of life care.

Every aspect of Parsons Grange in Shinfield - Reading, Berkshire, has been designed to support your loved one to enjoy each day in the way they want. Here you’ll discover a café, a hair and beauty salon, a bar and a cinema, plus beautiful lounges and activity rooms – all for your loved one to use whenever they wish.

Each of the bedrooms at our care home in Berkshire has an en-suite wet-room, 24-hour nurse call system and flat screen TV, and are beautifully furnished. Some even have direct garden access.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

My loved one is outgoing and the staff respond so well to keep her active and engaged in the home. They have a list of activities each day and she's the first one in there most days. Everyone is mindful to spend time with residents, they understand this is the most important thing. They are always smiling, they give my loved one hugs and engage in proper conversation with her. This is what I appreciate most about the home!

The environment and atmosphere created by the care team is fantastic. This is clearly not just a job for the care staff, they genuinely care. The atmosphere in the home is like a family, all the residents and staff seem to be a part of one big family rather than it being carers looking after residents. It's a calm and relaxed way of caring, like being with friends. It's always so reassuring when we visit.

It is a lovely home, very clean and tidy. The staff are absolute brilliant, very welcoming and look after dad very well. He is not an easy person and he is doing very well in there and that is because of the staff and environment.
