Welcome to Field Lodge

Every aspect of our Cambridgeshire home incorporates design touches that help people living with dementia to feel at home and to find their way around independently.

Our home has also been shaped by the interests of residents, there's a tuck shop, cinema, hair and beauty salon, as well as a spacious café. We also have themed areas for residents to explore, including an indoor garden area, music room and a magic table for residents living with dementia.

Every bedroom is individually decorated and has its own en-suite wet room. Some of the ground floor rooms open directly onto our lovely, secure gardens. Field Lodge is set within the location of St Ives, we are just a short drive from Huntingdon, Godmanchester and Cambridge.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

The activities programme is packed with activities, including everything from exercise classes to arts and crafts, film afternoons, and parties. There’s always an opportunity for one-to-one time too, and some residents enjoy the sense of purpose that comes with helping around the home.

It is really the variety and frequency of activities that is most impressive. They have things going on every day, all kinds of things to suit different tastes… films, sing songs, arts and crafts, they have entertainers coming in, therapy dogs, they have outings, and they arrange one to one activities for residents who are not so mobile or sociable... important work and very well organised.

It’s a very inviting environment… comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, very homely, not at all like other nursing facilities I've experienced. There is a nice garden area, they have a cinema, a lovely cafeteria where families can sit and have a meal with their loved ones, which is a nice touch. It's a nice place for our loved one to be living.

My loved one is very well cared for. She is safe and very happy there. The staff are very fond of her, and it shows... they talk with her, spend time with her, really listen and take an interest in her… they go above and beyond. The nurses and carers are very well trained... I feel my loved one is very safe with them, they know what they are doing and they are very efficient.
