Buchanan Court is a luxurious and contemporary home that offers a full range of quality, personalised care.

The experienced team at our Harrow, Greater London care home provide residential and nursing care, as well as specialist care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. They are also able to cater for short term respite stays and offer compassionate end-of-life care.

Inside our 80-bedroom care home, there’s lots going on. As well as having a range of luxury facilities to enjoy, residents can take part in activities such as exercise classes and games. And of course, we all love relaxing in the beautiful garden when the weather’s nice too.

My loved one has dementia and it is quite aggressive… they are so patient and encouraging with her… they work persistently in supporting her changing needs. They try to keep her active by playing music and dancing with her, they are very generous with their time and attention. Every single meal requires effort on their part, encouraging her to eat something, yet every day they persist patiently, with such understanding and compassion.

My loved one is assigned to a particular key worker and this carer knows her very well, every aspect of her life... what she wants, what she likes or dislikes, and more personal elements of her life. If anything occurs or if any concerns arise, this carer communicates them to us directly... we are kept involved in all aspects of care and we feel supported by both management and carers alike.
