Welcome to Brook Court

Brook Court care home in Kidderminster takes pride in providing person-centered care including residential, dementia and nursing care. We also offer short-term respite and specialised end-of-life care. Brook Court offers a host of luxury facilities, including a cinema, a hair and beauty salon, and a welcoming coffee shop.

Our busy activities programme means residents enjoy a variety of ways to fill their days, including gentle exercise classes, art workshops, community visits or simply relaxing in our seaside-themed garden. Residents living with dementia can also enjoy special pamper sessions with our trained namaste care practitioner.

There’s always a lot to do in my role, but by far my most favourite part of the day is when I walk around the home, checking everything is okay, and chatting to residents, relatives and my team.

There are loads and loads of activities going on all the time… drawing, painting, singing, entertainers coming in, quizzes, trips out in the van... something for everyone, and the staff encourage residents to join in and engage without being too pushy.

The care staff are very patient with my loved one… they can read her moods very well and respond appropriately, sometimes with words, sometimes with a hug, sometimes with banter, all of which goes such a long way to making her feel safe and at ease. Huge thank you for the informative and interesting meeting that we attended at Brook Court. We learned such a lot and it’s a comfort to know that you and your colleagues are there to care and help people with dementia, and their families. The staff and the home in general just seem to care about the residents and make sure their needs are met and their quality of life as good as it can be. They're really kind to my dad and want to get to know him and his needs making sure they are met.

The carers and managers on the ward know their job. When I had the first care review meeting I was impressed with how detailed it was. They described my mum to a T within the report and it shows they know what they are doing and how to get to know somebody.
