Our luxury care home is set within a peaceful residential area. Our skilled and experienced teams provide round-the-clock nursing, dementia and residential care, as well as short term respite care.

Amherst House is the ideal setting for personalised care of the highest standard. It is a spacious, modern home featuring luxurious amenities including an in-house cinema, café and hair salon.

Residents at our home can enjoy stylish lounges and a stunning collection of ensuite bedrooms. We provide a varied activity programme and our minibus access means we can arrange outings to local areas of interest. Our beautifully landscaped gardens and outside space offer a peaceful environment for residents and their loved ones.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

It's a very pleasant environment, always neat and tidy. There are always photographs of the residents around and the staff update them all the time to acknowledge their achievements. It is a welcoming place, from the reception area to the bistro, and there is a lovely lounge area to sit and socialise. It's a very friendly, homely feel to the place.
